Rates from Kaiser Permanente® HMO plans will increase an average of 3% for July 1, 2018. PPO plans got a rate pass. To avoid the increase, have your clients enroll for a May 1 2018 or June 1, 2018 effective date. Rates are valid through December 2018. Quoting is available in HealthConnect. However, plans with infertility must be sent to Kaiser to quote. There are no plan or benefit changes. Rates and benefits are the same for Kaiser HMOs sold through Kaiser or through CaliforniaChoice®. Off-anniversary moves are not allowed. Moving Kaiser groups to CaliforniaChoice and moving CaliforniaChoice groups to Kaiser can only be done on the group’s anniversary date.
